About Dr. Kimble

David Michael Kimble, MD, is double board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, and he has spent the better part of his professional career helping women overcome pelvic wellness issues that have a severe impact on quality of life. At Women’s Center for Pelvic Wellness, Dr. Kimble uses the latest surgical techniques and most recent research to help women in Pasadena, California, successfully navigate every stage of their health.

Dr. Kimble earned his medical degree at the University of Florida, College of Medicine, in Gainesville in 1992. He went on to complete his residency at the Albany Medical Center Hospital, New York, in 1996. When robotic surgery was introduced to the gynecologic field, Dr. Kimble endeavored to receive robotic surgical training through Intuitive Surgical in 2007.

During his career, Dr. Kimble has received over a dozen awards, most recently Surgeon of the Year from Albany Medical College in 2018 and the Chairman’s Award for Resident Education in the same year.

Dr. Kimble is published in peer-reviewed journals and is often called on to speak at national and international conferences. He’s also involved in a number of research projects.

When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Kimble serves as a school board member and has even served as a public announcer for ice skating events. He is an avid soccer player as well, and has coached the sport for years.
